Who is Psynth built for?

What can I upload, and what do I get back?

PDFs, images, handwritten notes, score reports and session audio. You get an editable report, exported to PDF or DOCX, or sent to SharePoint or Google Drive.

Is Psynth HIPAA compliant, and do you sign a BAA?

Yes. Psynth is HIPAA compliant and signs a Business Associate Agreement with practices on every plan. Psynth is also GDPR and PIPEDA compliant and holds a SOC 2 Type 2 report and ISO 27001 certification.

Does Psynth store patient data or train AI models on it?

Reports and uploads are stored in your account so you can come back and edit them, until you delete them or 90 days after you cancel, and you can ask for your data to be deleted at any time. Psynth's AI vendors do not retain data, and patient data is not used to train models. Psynth self hosts all AI operations in the Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.

Which assessments does Psynth support?

Psynth supports 450+ assessments, including the WISC-V, BASC-3, Conners 4 and ADOS-2, and adds new instruments on request.

How much does Psynth cost?

Pay-As-You-Go is $50 per report. The Practice Plan is $99 a month plus $35 per report (as low as $28 per report with an annual commitment), and it's the cheaper option once you write more than 5 reports a month. Enterprise pricing is custom. Ambient Listening is an add-on at $30 per user per month. You're billed once, when you first generate a report. Editing and exporting after that is free.

Does the psychologist stay in control of the final report?

Always. Psynth writes the draft, and the clinician reviews, edits and signs every report. You control each section's structure, prompts and wording, and Psynth flags inconsistencies or missing data for you to check.

How is Psynth different from using ChatGPT to write reports?

Psynth is built for psychological assessment. ChatGPT is a general chatbot. Psynth reads score reports and handwritten notes, sorts uploads into 13 clinical categories, runs quality checks on the data, and exports a formatted report. It also operates under a BAA, and its AI vendors retain no data. General chatbots typically don't sign BAAs for individual clinicians. ChatGPT Healthcare will sign a BAA, but you copy and paste its output into your own template and it doesn't allow you to create tables like Psynth does directly in the editor.

Can Psynth match my report template and writing voice?

Yes. You can set structure, prompts, visibility and AI behavior section by section, so reports follow your template and read like you wrote them. Group practices can share organization-wide templates. You can create as many templates as you like. On Pay-As-You-Go we build one for you; on the other plans we build them all.

Does Psynth work outside the United States?

Yes. Psynth is used in the US, Canada and the EU and supports PIPEDA (Canada) and GDPR (EU/UK), with multi-region data residency.
